Citizen Initiative “Youth Initiative”
The “Youth Initiative” project is an initiative aimed at empowering Tunisian youth to actively participate in influencing public policies and achieving positive change in society. This initiative focuses on building the capacities of young people and enhancing their skills in various fields such as communication, advocacy, content creation, and teamwork.
Methodology:
The project adopts a participatory approach that brings together youth institutions and local associations. It begins with the establishment of clubs across the country, starting with 10 clubs in 10 governorates, comprising youth from various disciplines and interests. Club members are trained through workshops in different areas such as:
- Understanding public policies and mechanisms for influencing them
- Promoting freedom of expression through content creation
- Effective communication between youth, local institutions, and local authorities
- Local strategic planning
Objectives:
The “Youth Takes Action” project aims to achieve the following goals:
- Empower youth to actively participate in influencing public policies
- Enhance youth skills in various fields such as communication, advocacy, content creation, and teamwork
- Promote a culture of participation and citizenship among youth
- Achieve positive change in society
